These regulations outline the house rules, safety guidelines, and environmental conservation practices governing Hostelería Samarán Wuasi. Compliance is mandatory for all registered guests and visitors to ensure a safe and pleasant stay.
1. Mandatory Registration & ID
All guests staying at our establishment are legally required to register by presenting a valid government ID (D.N.I. for Peruvian citizens, Passport or Foreign Card with the Andean Migration Card for international visitors) at the front desk. Unregistered guests are strictly prohibited from entering the rooms.
2. Harmony & Silence Hours
To guarantee a peaceful rest for all families and tour groups:
- Silence Hours are established between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. During this time, loud noises, high-volume music, or noisy conversations in rooms and hallways are prohibited.
- Our hostelry promotes a respectful, family-friendly, and non-discriminatory environment. Any abusive or offensive behavior will lead to immediate cancellation of your stay without refund.
3. Environmental Conservation
Puno and Lake Titicaca form a highly fragile Andean ecosystem. We strongly encourage guests to:
- Use hot water and heating responsibly. Turn off lights and electronic devices when leaving your room.
- Do not flush paper, plastics, or other trash down the toilets. Use the recycling bins provided throughout the property.
4. Strict Prohibitions
The following activities are strictly prohibited within the premises:
- Smoking in rooms, hallways, and indoor public spaces, in compliance with Peruvian Law N° 29517 (100% Tobacco Smoke-Free Establishment).
- The consumption, possession, or distribution of illegal drugs or substances.
- Bringing pets or animals, except for registered guide dogs.
- Carrying firearms, sharp objects, or flammable materials.
5. Security of Valuables
The hostelry is not responsible for the loss of money, jewelry, or valuables that were not officially placed under documented custody at the administration desk. We request guests to keep doors and windows locked when leaving their rooms.
